Vintage classic dress with an excellent designer label of the late 1970s, St. John Knit for Saks Fifth Avenue, and this is top quality as always. It has unique vertical ribs at the curved yoke. It is very form-fitting, with a smooth almost 1930s fit.The shoulders are slightly gathered.  Love the red glass faceted buttons with the gold overlay logo.
