A chic little red jersey dress by one of the masters of the jersey dress during the seventies, Stephen Burrows! Designers like Burrows were taking the classic silhouettes and doing them in jerseys for all the girls that were going out and dancing all night long. Just by changing the fabric like that, his dresses changed into something sexy and daring. He plunged the neckline on this one and seamed it so that it seems to wrap and tie around the body at the hip, but it actually does not. It is all just an illusion. I love how the top portion is lean and fitted and the skirt flares so that when you dance it has lots of movement. A beauty! Excellent condition
